As a service to myself, my clients, customers and readers, I will be giving monthly market reports as well as in depth quarterly reports on the real estate market for the North Georgia Mountains. Should there be any statistics within my reports that I have left out that you would like me to compile the information and post, please contact me and I will be more than happy to do so. I want to thank you for taking time to read my North Georgia Mountain real estate market reports. The data that I put together comes straight from our local Northeast Georgia Board of Realtors. I have been known to make a mistake from time to time, so please understand that while this information is deemed reliable, it is not guaranteed.
This report shows us the number of ALL Listings within Gilmer, Fannin and Union counties in North Georgia that was either sold or went under contract during the month of November 2007.

This report shows us the actual number of Residential Listings within the three reporting counties of Gilmer, Fannin and Union.
Gilmer 38 – Fannin 31 – Union 31
This reports shows us the Average Sales Price of the Homes that were sold within the reporting counties of Gilmer, Fannin, and Union.
Gilmer $165K – Fannin $274K – Union $221K
This report show us the Average Days On Market (DOM) of the Homes that were sold within the reporting counties of Gilmer, Fannin, and Union.
Gilmer 145 – Fannin 135 - Union 163
This report shows us the Average List To Sell Percentage of the Homes that were sold within the reporting counties of Gilmer, Fannin, and Union. This lets us know just how much the home actually sold for in relation to what the price of the home was listed. I have heard of some markets were there average List To Sell Percentage was below 60%. Now that is low! As you can see from these reports, the real estate market in the North Georgia Mountain area is holding strong at an average of around 94% List To Sell Percentage.
Gilmer 94% – Fannin 95% – Union 94%
Below you will find a couple of reports of the active listings as of the end of November 2007 for the North Georgia counties of Gilmer, Fannin, and Union. The first report breaks down the listings from Residential, Commercial, and Lots and Acreage. The second report will show you the number of Listings broken down by price points to give you a better idea of the type of homes on the market.
