It’s time to Kick-Off the Season at the Copperhead Lodge on Friday April 4^th and continuing through Sunday the 6th. Have you always wanted to be a star in your own Rockband? You will want to be there Friday Night for the Wanna Be a Rockstar Contest. Saturday the Cook-Out starts at noon with the Live Music starting at 2:00 P.M. and goes on ALL day! You will also not want to miss this ride being hosted by the good folks out at the Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville Georgia and the Lake Blue Ridge Chapter 380 of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club on Sunday the 6^th. Come on out and Kick-Off the 2008 riding season with a lot of Fun and Goodtimes.

It’s the Bozo Brain Bucket Ride & Contest to benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in support of their fight against cancer. I can’t think of a better way or cause to begin the riding season. You want to see something that amazed me and it might you too, then cruise on over to the Souther Cruisers Riding Club’s website above and take a look at the total dollar amount that they have donated to the cause….$242,802.57 just in 2007 alone and a running total of $797,848.81. I think these guys and gals need a BIG pat on the back don’t you think?

Here is how the Bozo Brain Bucket Ride will go down. First you need to decorate an old helmet in any outrageous way you can. Originality is more important than how much you spend. Voting is to be by the “People’s Choice.” Winning helmet becomes the property of the LBR Chapter and will be displayed for 1 year at the Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville, GA. along with the winner’s name on a plaque. Next year the helmet becomes First Prize!

First Prize = $100 Cash plus a $100 Gift Certificate from the Depot Power Sports, plus a helmet to go home with.

2^nd and 3^rd Runner Up’s receive $50 Cash plus a $25 Gift Certificate.

Entry Fee and registration is $20 per Rider and $10 per Passenger. Come on out to the Copperhead Lodge and support St. Jude and their fight against cancer. If you have any questions, please call John Simon @ 706–374–1095 to get the answers.
