Blue Ridge Georgia is proud and excited to host the 2008 GoLite USARA Adventure Race National Championships on November 7th & 8th. This involves multiple events and may include, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking just to mention a few. It involves teamwork, running, mountain biking & kayaking the Toccoa River. Regionally qualified teams will converge in the Georgia Mountains to compete in a grueling 24-Hour course. Teams compete in regional qualifying events throughout the year, all chasing the same goal of reaching the GoLite USARA Adventure Race National Championships.

This is a very exciting race to watch and be a part of. I would highly encourage you if you are in the North Georgia Mountains, scoot on over to Blue Ridge and watch this National Event.

   Hi Chad,

   Will you be posting any pictures of this? I’ve never heard of it before, but the combo of events sounds interesting. Are you in the race?

   Hey Dan,

   I was fortunately out with clients most of the weekend and was not able to capture any photos. It is a very exciting race. Blue Ridge hosts the Aska Adventure Race every year in April, so I know what to expect. It is a gruiling race, one that shows true endurance and stamina. There is no way I could even finish!
