I am afraid that I have given a lot of folks the worng impression. These North Georgia Mountains are in my opinion some of the safest places on Earth. I have received a lot of personal emails asking if this is a High Crime Area. Not in the least.

I agree with you Dan, I feel much safer here in the Country than I ever have in the “Big City!”

Good advice. I feel like my family is in a much safer area (Big Canoe) than where we used to live in metro Atlanta, but as the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!
