Here’s Your Sign!
Be real careful as you drive through the North Georgia Mountains, and always pay close attention to the Road Signs!
All joking aside, there are a lot of folks in these mountain communities over the next several months. Unfortunately I read of a gentleman that lost his life this past week on Highway 60 riding through the beautiful area of Suches. He was on a motorcycle and lost control in a curve. There are so many folks riding motorcycles up here in the North Georgia Mountains, after all, it is heaven right here on earth for doing just that. If you are in the area and riding, you want to be sure to go by the Copperhead Lodge and stop in for lunch. You never know who maybe in concert out there or what kind of activities will be going on.

It seems more and more these days that Home Schooling is becoming even more popular. My wife and I have several friends that either have children at home in school, or at least have tried it for a year or so and found it really wasn’t for them.
I know for my wife and I, we haven’t really given it a second thought for many reasons. I think one of the biggest reasons is simply the social aspect of missing out on the interaction with the other children. I realize that this can have both a positive and a negative impact on our children, but I feel it is a vital part of growing up in my opinion. Having said this, our jobs as parents is getting tougher and tougher. What are your thoughts on Home Schooling?

Sometimes it is just so Dawg Gone hard to find a level spot for your new home! Country Boy’s know how to Get R’ Done!
No this was not taken in the North Georgia Mountains…or at least it wasn’t taken by me! I was however looking through the Northeast Georgia MLS the other day and found a Mobile Home on a poured foundation, haven’t ever seen that before!
